Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs (SLPs)

The Fargo Rough Riders Kiwanis Family includes young leaders in middle school and high school. They learn communication, organization, and other twenty-first century skills while connecting with positive role models in Circle K and Kiwanis and forming friendships among their classmates that will last the rest of their lives - all while making Fargo a cleaner, safer, and happier city.

Chartered on March 17, 2025

Projects this year included writing letters to veterans traveling with Honor Flight, volunteering at the Emergency Food Pantry, and babysitting during Parent Teacher Conferences. Students made seasonal treats for BFMS staff, handed out candy at Boo at the Zoo, and raised funds for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.  They also baked cookies for staff at Rosewood on Broadway and made cat toys from old t-shirts.

This year, West Fargo Key Club has collected pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house and coins for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. They've conducted a supply drive benefitting the Homeward Animal Shelter, raised funds through concessions to support a Christmas gifting project, and packaged foods for elementary school families in need.

Sheyenne Key Club has created thank you gifts for staff and collected items for the Cass/Clay YWCA and the Red River Children's Advocacy Center.
